Liverpool and Arsenal target Jan Oblak has signed a new deal at Atletico Madrid, according to the club's president Enrique Cerezo.

The Slovenian is considered one of the finest goalkeepers in Europe as a result of his impressive form since joining Atletico in 2014.

His solid displays between the sticks have seen him linked with Liverpool and Arsenal, who are both said to be scouring the markets for potential new number ones.

But it seems as the though the Premier League duo will have to look elsewhere as, according to Cerezo, Oblak has committed his future to Atletico.

When asked about the future of 25-year-old Oblak, the president told Radio Marca: “My understanding is Oblak has renewed with us, if you did not know already.”
