Following Manchester City’s defeat at Newcastle last night, the Reds could have put themselves in a commanding position at the summit and got off to the perfect start when Sadio Mane gave Liverpool the lead after just two minutes. But the Reds were lacklustre and let Leicester back in it when Harry Maguire took advantage of some slack defending to equalise just before the break.
