The 2022 summer transfer window has been a busy one so far and we can expect every Premier League club to spend, spend, spend until deadline day.

The January market was hectic for some as they went big to try and achieve their goals but quiet for others who decided to hold onto their money.

Plenty of cash has already been spent this summer with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham having some serious work to do.

The Premier League’s top two Manchester City and Liverpool have gone big, landing new strikers in Erling Haaland and Darwin Nunez respectively.

As ever, the Premier League’s new sides will need to reinforce so Fulham, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest have been active too.

The 2022/23 campaign is fast approaching but clubs still have plenty of time to get deals done.

When does the transfer window open and close?

The transfer market reopened on Friday, June 10.

However, most international deals did not go through until Friday, July 1 including Haaland’s move to City.

The window will then run until deadline day on Thursday, September 1 and will shut at 11pm in line with other European leagues.

There is no major international tournament scheduled for the summer, which should make the transfer window easier to navigate for most Premier League clubs.
