Mesut Ozil has committed his future to Arsenal by signing a three-and-half-year contract extension.

And Gooners will understandably be excited considering the club's attack now consists of Ozil, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Ozil began his professional career at Schalke and since he made his league debut in August 2006, he is the only player to have created more than 1000 goal scoring chances within the big five European leagues.

In addition, the playmaker has created more goal scoring chances (458) and provided more assists (49) than any other player in the Premier League since he arrived in England in 2013.
