Arsenal transfer news: Hope for Gunners as transfer target says he has not agreed Inter Milan move

Arsenal have been given hope in their pursuit of Lautaro Martinez after the Argentine ace denied a move to Inter Milan is complete.

As talkSPORT told you earlier this month, the Racing Club striker revealed he was close to joining the San Siro club despite interest from England and Spain.

It has since been suggested that the transfer is done and dusted and that Martinez will link up with his new club in the summer.

But now the 20-year-old rising star, who has scored seven goals in 11 league games this term, says there is still no agreement, which could open the door for the likes of Arsenal and Atletico Madrid to make a late move.

“As of today, there is nothing concrete about it,” Martinez told Argentine outlet Pagina 12.

“The transfer has not been concluded.

“Of course, there are meetings and offers, but that’s it. I am a Racing player and want to do my best for Racing.

“Everything will become clear the day there is something concrete.”
