Manchester City FC news: Pep Guardiola’s side could break all these Premier League records this season

Chelsea currently hold this record, and have done since the 2004/05 season when Jose Mourinho guided the Blues to their first Premier League title by winning 95 points. They suffered defeat in just one game, conceded only 15 goals (still a record), and finished 12 points ahead of second-place Arsenal. However, with 11 games to go, City could break this record. They are currently on 72 points and will end the season on 101 if they continue to pick up points at the same rate they have been throughout the campaign.

Guardiola's brilliant side have already broken some Premier League records - such as winning 18 consecutive games in a row - and they are on course to break even more by the end of the 2017/18 season.
