Atletico Madrid will rival Arsenal's pursuit of Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno, according to reports.
The 26-year-old has been tipped to move to the Emirates in the summer and is viewed as the ideal long-term successor to Petr Cech.
Leno has been an ever-present in the Bundesliga this season and his impressive displays have seen him linked with a mega-money switch at the end of the campaign.
Arsenal remain in pole position to land the Germany international but, according to Kicker, the Gunners will not have negotiations their own way as Atletico are ready to join the race.
The future of current Atletico first-choice stopper Jan Oblak has come under scrutiny in recent months and the Spanish giants have set their sights on Leno, should the Slovenian's future not be resolved.
