‘Champions League winner’ Ross Turnbull, that is. The English goalkeeper spent four years as Chelsea’s backup glovesman, totalling 19 appearances in all competitions. It is impossible to remember one game in which he did anything other than struggle, but he was on the bench when the Blues defeated Bayern Munich in the European Cup final, meaning he holds the highest club honour in European football. Turnbull joined Chelsea from Middlesbrough as a quite highly rated young keeper, and when he left Stamford Bridge in 2013 tears were shed – tears of joy, it must be said.

Brace yourselves, Chelsea and Spurs fans... this eleven will make you shiver.

The two sides meet at Stamford Bridge on Sunday and the talent on show should provide fans with a real spectacle.

But, as seasoned supporters will know, that hasn't always been the case.

We remember recent flops such as Fernando Torres and Roberto Soldado, but disappointing signings are something of a tradition for both clubs.

Here we have eleven players who, at times, utterly comfounded fans with their footballing ability (or lack of it).
