With Arsenal's Europa League semi-final second leg clash against Atletico Madrid on his mind, Arsene Wenger played his youngest XI of the season against Manchester United.

Not only that, it was the youngest since the Gunners were thrashed 8-2 by the Red Devils in 2011, and while they lost again it was a much more promising performance from the side with an average age of .24 years and 67 days old.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles, 20, got plenty of credit for his display and debutant Konstantinos Mavropanos, 20, also played well at Old Trafford.
