AC Milan are ready to rival Liverpool for RB Leipzig hot shot Timo Werner.

The forward finished up with 13 goals in the Bundesliga this season, while he also contributed seven assists.

Liverpool are now exploring the possibility of bringing the Germany international to Anfield as Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of his talents.

But, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan will rival Liverpool in any approach for Werner.

The San Siro club are looking to bolster their attacking options this summer and they would love to land the 22-year-old.

RB Leipzig, however, are reluctant to sell Werner during the current transfer window after already losing Naby Keita to Liverpool.
