Newcastle wasn’t made to pay for an embarrassing miss from Matt Ritchie as Rafa Benitez’s side held on to beat Burnley 2-1 for a third straight win in the English Premier League on Monday.

Following Manchester City’s defeat at Newcastle last night, the Reds could have put themselves in a commanding position at the summit and got off to the perfect start when Sadio Mane gave Liverpool the lead after just two minutes.
