Aaron Mooy has revealed it is “weird” to be playing alongside Socceroos teammate Mat Ryan at Brighton and Hove Albion this season in the Premier League, after first appearing in the same team while in school.

Following Manchester City’s defeat at Newcastle last night, the Reds could have put themselves in a commanding position at the summit and got off to the perfect start when Sadio Mane gave Liverpool the lead after just two minutes.
