Manchester United have kicked off their Premier League campaign but are still looking to strengthen their squad.

The club have secured just one deal so far in this transfer window – signing midfielder Donny van de Beek from Ajax for £40million.

Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho has been their top target all summer but Borussia Dortmund have played hardball over his fee, and it looks like he’ll be staying where he is.

Alex Telles could be incoming before the deadline, though, from Porto, while a deal for Ismaila Sarr seems dead, as Ousmane Dembele of Barcelona is instead being linked with a move to Old Trafford, as an alternative to Sancho.

The Daily Mirror published a video of violent scenes, claiming a group of Reds supporters were attacked by a 'gang on masked hooligans'.
