Premier League 2020/21 top scorer: Full stats as Calvert-Lewin and Son lead way with most goals while Kane has most assists
The race for the Premier League Golden Boot is on.
The 2020/21 season has started in extraordinary style with goals going in all over the place.
After the opening 38 top-flight games this term, there had been 144 goals – 40 more than at the same stage last season – and the scoring has continued at great pace.
It means the battle for the top scorer is already taking shape with some stars at double figures for the campaign already.
Last season, Leicester’s superb Jamie Vardy netted 23 goals to edge out Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Danny Ings of Southampton to the top gong.
Meanwhile, Manchester City maestro Kevin De Bruyne provided the most assists with 20 and his team-mate Ederson won the Golden Glove by keeping 16 clean sheets.
