England beat Germany 2-0 in their Euro 2020 showdown to make it into the quarter-finals.

In front of a huge crowd at Wembley, Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane scored in the second half to send the Three Lions’ fans wild.

Gareth Southgate got his tactics spot on with England nulifying the Germans throughout.

They will now take on Ukraine in the quarter-finals on Saturday after they beat Sweden 2-1 in extra-time.

Travelling Liverpool fans were caught up in trouble ahead of Saturday’s showdown against Real Madrid , after being apparently attacked in a restaurant. The Daily Mirror published a video of violent scenes, claiming a group of Reds supporters were attacked by a 'gang on masked hooligans'. Ukrainian police announced two foreigners had been injured "in a fight" at the city centre establishment, and that two arrests had been made. Reports said the incident occurred at the Rooster Grill.
