The transfer window slams shut TODAY and there are sure to be a raft of last-gasp signings.

Manchester United will complete the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus, having confirmed last week they had agreed a sensational deal to bring him back to Old Trafford.

Man United are set to make room for Ronaldo by selling Dan James to Leeds, while West Ham remain keen to do a deal for Jesse Lingard.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid want Kylian Mbappe but Paris Saint-Germain have so far rebuffed all bids and they may have to wait until next summer when they can sign him for free.

Chelsea are still chasing Sevilla defender Jules Kounde, while Callum Hudson-Odoi could be off, and Wolves are set to pull off a coup by landing Portugal star Renato Sanches.

Travelling Liverpool fans were caught up in trouble ahead of Saturday’s showdown against Real Madrid , after being apparently attacked in a restaurant. The Daily Mirror published a video of violent scenes, claiming a group of Reds supporters were attacked by a 'gang on masked hooligans'. Ukrainian police announced two foreigners had been injured "in a fight" at the city centre establishment, and that two arrests had been made. Reports said the incident occurred at the Rooster Grill.
