The Argentine was confirmed as the new Blues' head coach on Monday, the former Spurs boss signing a two-year contract with the option of a third.

Pochettino was a true firm favourite with Spurs due to his success during his time in north London, but for one supporter, it seems that the feeling of goodwill is a thing of the past.

The fan, with the username @tehTrunk tweeted a video that read: "How's this for a barbecue you f****** turncoat?"

The accompanying video showed Guillem Balague's book about Pochettino titled 'Brave New World: Inside Pochettino's Spurs' smoking on the bank holiday sunshine BBQ.

Tottenham are looking for a new manager themselves following the sacking of Antonio Conte earlier this year but those pining for a Pochettino return have now seen their dreams shattered.

"He is a winning coach, who has worked at the highest levels, in multiple leagues and languages.

"His ethos, tactical approach and commitment to development all made him the exceptional candidate."
